Junior Karate

Our juniors programme is a high-energy class packed with quick movements, sharp combinations, and cardio-based fitness circuits using specialised equipment in the dojo. We take the speed and athletic striking students love and ground it in traditional karate structure.

At Bristol School of Karate, our syllabus covers a massive variety of techniques—from fundamental punches, blocks, and crisp footwork up to jumping, flying, and spinning kicks. As students progress, these movements are linked into demanding 3-to-8 move combinations that test stamina, coordination, and personal grit.

  • Agility & Full-Body Fitness: High-tempo cardio drills, circuit stations, and dynamic jumping kicks that build explosive strength, stamina, and coordination.

  • Complex Multi-Strike Combos: Technical drills linking 3-to-8 move combinations of blocks, strikes, and evasive footwork to sharpen reactions under fatigue.

  • Controlled & Padded Sparring: Supervised partner rounds using full protective gear, giving students a safe space to apply their timing and distance practically.

  • Quarterly Belt Motivation: Formal grading assessments held every 3 months, offering clear milestones to build genuine discipline on the path to black belt.
